How We Grade

Our records are visually graded, and the buyer can request play test grading.

Cover (Sleeve) Grading:

Sealed: Still sealed.

EX (Excellent): Like new.

VG+ (Very Good +): May have light corner wear or a sticker.

VG: Rougher corners and seams, may have some light splitting.

VG-: Some splitting or wear.

G+: Rougher overall appearance with heavier splitting.

Vinyl Grading:

EX: Pretty much like a new LP but it isn't sealed

VG+: Looks relatively flawless, with only superficial signs of use.

VG: May exhibit minor surface marks with some mild surface noise.

VG-: May have numerous light scratches or marks that will affect music quality some, but quite readily playable.

G+: Heavier wear, usually from improper storage. This record will definitely have some noise due to its markings, but could be worthwhile buy for sentimental reasons.
